Sugar Bowl uniforms

Certainly not the worst I've seen, but the unis are starting to get a bit too busy for my liking. Plus, I don't really like the idea of us playing "follow the leader" when it comes to all these gimmick uniforms. I hope they don't take it further than this latest one.

Personally, I liked the UTL version best.

we are ruining what was a classic

i understand buildling on tradition but i don't like this stuff

Please point me to the so-called "classic" road uniform. It has altered many times even in the past 40 years. I like this Sugar Bowl version.

I go back and forth on this... on one hand, it's nothing more than an obvious sell-out to market YET ANOTHER goddamn piece of merchandise to one of the largest fanbases in the country.

on the other hand, who gives a shit anymore?

Yep.

The jerseys are available at the Mden now for pre-order.

This tells the story. Selling stuff is a longstanding Michigan tradition.

the official Michigan Thought Police are busy editing Bo's Lasting Lessons to include photoshopped images of him standing alongside Dave Brandon, and hocking autographed "Officially Licensed 24-12 Upset" footballs to fans on the field in 1969, for the low low price of $19.99, and adding the Adidas logo to every Michigan jersey or piece of equipment in old photos.

Could be much worse, like say tiny maize Wolverine paw-print stickers slapped on the blue part of their helmets, like how the buckeye stickers are placed on Ohio State's football helmets, after a player gets his props for making good plays in games during their seasons on their teams.

My pipe dream. Sigh.
