Suh cleared by police after threatening cable guy..

He's got issues, but I've got no issue with what he did here.

I know I shouldn't be laughing but come on..I wonder if his name was Chip Douglas?

just terrible judgement. Why in the world would you take out any kind of gun to see if there is someone in the trees behind your house?

Man, I just read the article. Suh did nothing. Non-story.

I know. I was being sarcastic. I think Suh deserves MOST of his reputation, but things like this are stupid.

Guy just has to realize he's going to be recognized and EVERY time he does something like this it's going to be a story. Right or wrong.

I can tell you right now, if I thought someone was in my yard, endangering my family in any way, there would be a gun in my hand.

And since I love in Arizona, if there was someone in my yard, I would absolutely blow a hole in them, no if's and's or but's.

I'm miles from the border, and we get drug runners in yards all the time, and then people end up dead. A few years back a rancher named Roberts Krentz offered watered to a group of illegal immigrants, and they killed him afterwards.

I don't blame the guy at all. Protect your family.

WTF? What kind of moron goes in someone's back yard without telling them? stupid cable guy should have been shot in the ass with salt rock just to teach him a lesson.

Are u fn kidding me? You Americans roll around with guns all the time. And thats not a shot, thats fact. I have no issue with protecting your family with a gun...id do the same over here but its a bit harder

Tony is right. America is extremely liberal with guns. And some states, like the one I live in allow anyone over the age of 18 to carry a gun openly without a permit.

I walk into a Walmart here and half the people have guns on their sides.

My only problem with what Suh did is when you are a multi-millionaire worried about your family... don't buy a fucking air gun. Buy a piece and be able to actually protect someone.

I don't own a gun but I'd be sure to pick up my Louisville Slugger. Though Ink's post are making me want to, as a New person in Arizona.

Btw, it was funny you mention Walmart. I bought a small cooler there a few weeks ago and when I opened it, there was a gun in it. I just dumped it my trash..

If you're up in Verrado, you're pretty well immune to the immigration problems.

About three years ago, the Mayor of Phoenix came down to Sierra Vista and met with some of our publishers, because he couldn't understand why the border "wasn't secure"... he never sees illegals up his way four hours north of us.

I took him just south of my area, to the base of the mountains, and told him to count the illegals coming over the border.

He gave up after about an hour and a half when he got to 400 and something. He couldn't believe his eyes.

Border patrol here does a decent job, but they are 20 miles back of the border. By the time the sensors pick them up, the drug mules are already here and may have killed someone.

And bear in mind, I am a die hard liberal. I support gay rights, immigration bills, welfare for folks who need it... this isn't your normal Arizona uber-conservative that wants to seal the border and kill every brown man that looks over the fence.

But I also know that my family is in danger a lot here. Five years ago I fired a shot at an armed illegal in my garage who pulled a knife on me when I discovered him. I happen to have been cleaning my pistol and putting it in the safe when I found him hiding behind a mattress in my garage and the shot went through the mattress and didn't hit him. He gave up fast, but it was still fire a shot or maybe be knifed to death in my own home.

Nah, someone probably got it at the sporting good counter and then decided they didn't want to buy it and shoved it in a cooler. I found one in a cooler once at Walmart and just handed it over.

Walmart isn't supposed to let you take a firearm to the front, but the employees do it all the time here.

Doubtful. Cops matched it up on video. They one he turned over matched the one if the video, so I'm guessing he had just the air gun.
