Suh interview on 97.1

Terry was the one asking about his personal life...and it's no surprise Mike would get a little irritated when he was asking valid questions and Suh was giving him absolutely nothing.

Does it really matter who was asking? Terry or Mike whatever they both stand up for each other. It was a dumb question, I bet u were under the table fluffing Mike with your right and and terry with your mouth

Yeah because players don't have to own up to what they do on and off the field. They can hide in their bubble and not have to account for anything they do. I think Suh left a little something on your face.

Coming from the guy who though the Lions were going to go 14-2 or whatever in '08, I'm not surprised he continues to suck off the players and coaches of this organization.

Valenti is an ass. Suh doesn't owe him any explanation, nor does he need to sit there while Mike gets chippy and talks about what he's owed. He clearly wasn't there to talk about a car accident or personal conversations with teammates. Do you blame him for answering the way he did?

Then he shouldn't have done the interview. I know Suh is a moron but he had to have known questions like this were going to come up. He can't avoid them forever.

I'd like to know what pussy questions some of the people on here would've asked Suh....Probably tip toe around the Thanksgiving game as if nothing ever happened.

It's a weekly thing. Probably something the organization more or less makes him do.

I get why they asked the questions, but the tone of Mike and the idea that he's owed an explanation from Suh is what's stupid about it. Valenti is a fuckin' nobody and isn't owed a damn thing.

Nah, you ask the questions, but when he says he's not talking about it (understandably so), you move on. Suh would be an even bigger idiot to answer those questions... especially the one about explaining the accident. He'd be opening himself up for legal trouble and nothing good could come of it for him.

I could care less about a car accident that happened 2 weeks ago. The police investigation cleared him and he was free to go. Off the field issue none of our business.

I don't care about the car accident question really, I'm a little surprised they brought it up, but I don't mind them at least inquiring about it. But I don't see why people have any issues with the other questions. What else were they going to talk about?

Agreed. I really don't understand why Valenti even thought that Suh would answer any of that stuff. Why would he come on there and answer anything that could open him up for legal action, that could cause him more fines from the league, or to talk about private conversations with friends, family and teammates. He was cordially telling him he didn't want to talk about that stuff and Valenti acted like he was entitled to an answer. I don't blame Suh one bit for ending it.

I'm sure Titan fans thought that way about Pacman.

At least they make things interesting like today. Sure beats having somebody getting paychecks from Ford doing these interviews.

Surely they could have asked about the upcoming games, how he thought the season was going, how anxious he was to get back out there, what he thought of his play thus far, and pretty much any other football related question. You know, the shit that matters to football fans.

I really could care less about athletes personal lives, political views, private conversations, personal troubles, etc. I just wanna watch them play the game and hear their thoughts about that stuff.

People get way too hung up on the gossip and scandals now. It's the TMZ era.

His actions after the whistle don't matter? Because that's what they were talking about aside from one question.

That's not what they asked about though. They asked about his conversations with teammates over the issues. It's none of our damn business. Keep it in the family, ya know?

There's a reason a lot of guys in this town won't talk to Valenti. Suh isn't the first or the last that will hang up on him when he cops an attitude and persists in asking about shit that really isn't his business.

I guess we'll see how people react. I don't think he gained any support today, that's for sure....and when (not if) he blows up again this Sunday people aren't gonna be too happy.

I guess I'm still just irked at the bullshit excuses he was giving after the game.

I didn't like the shots Valente was taking at Suh. Saying he only had 3 sacks and his tackles were down. Thats because opposing teams are double and sometimes triple teaming him out of fear.
