Super Bowl LIII Thread

Gillmore should have been the MVP.

He was second in tackles yesterday also with the Int to boot. You may be right he deserves the mvp .

Espically after Chung went out to ! He played great but that whole secondary played great. Was it one of the Mccourty twins who broke up a sure td at the back of the end zone because he read Goff and left his zone/guy not sure the defense and ran back and broke up the play. It was a bad pass for sure and late but it was a sure Td he broke up.

I agree it was a fun game because every play mattered. One mistake would have cost New England in the second half. Amazing td drive by New England. Great adjustments.
Philips has a great plan also but MCveay was schooled by one of the best coaches ever.

Yeah it was a defensive struggle that wasn?t decided for sure until there was only about one minute left.

To me it wasn?t boring at all.

I was thinking this, and then I heard this guy on the radio Larry O?Connor, he?s not a sports guy, he?s a political and social commentator new to the radio station that I listen to 790 KABC - obviously I won?t get into what he says about all that here, but he?s from Detroit and he?s obviously a sports fan and I think he?s a Michigan fan and he said what I was thinking-it was like one of those Ohio State Michigan games back in the Bo Woody days of the 10 year war.

Defensive struggle, but very exciting.

Bill Belichick credits Lions for inspiration on Super Bowl-winning strategy vs. Rams.
The Patriots head coach followed a few simple tricks the Lions also used against the Rams to defeat them.

How the Patriots Built Football's Greatest Dynasty.
MMQB/SI

After yet another Super Bowl title for the Patriots, their sixth since 2002, it's easy to forget how New England's run of success began. These are the origin stories of football?s marquee dynasty?from Robert Kraft?s humble beginning to the rise of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick to the surprising stars of Super Bowl LIII.

That game was nigh on unwatchable.

Then they had the nerve to get my hopes up for a Spongebob halftime show and.... screwed that up too.

If youre going to spend all year propping up McVeigh for being this offensive juggernaut supergenious....then i think there should also be a story printed now of how ****ing stupid of a game plan he had the last 2 weeks.

Like mid way thru the 3rd quarter they pointed out that their punter had more punts than Gurley had touches lol.

He kept hoping Goff would miraculously go win the game...even though he looked like shit for most of it.

I saw no creativity, no plan Bs, no adjustments...just drop back and throw to a covered receiver over and over and over. He was terrible, Goff was terrible.
