There's nothing bad in Swanson outplaying Ramirez. Ramirez was brought here to push some of the guys and become quality depth. Isn't this what everybody wanted? Ramirez as a backup? Because if he starts, he's more against the cap. I swear to God that this organization can do nothing right with some of you guys. ManRam can't go Tackle anymore. He's an interior OL, strenghts at C and G.

Ramirez is not a tackle hughes. Guard/center. Waddle will be back and Lucas will grow in year 2. The Lions have a very young and talented Oline. Glad Swanson is looking good.

I would argue the #1 reason ManRam can't play tackle according to all the experts is that he hasn't played tackle yet.

Just like he hadn't played Center until he took over the spot for the Broncos.

Now, it may very well be true that he's just not athletic enough to make the switch. Or he's not really fit for what the position calls for. But you don't know that until you've had him working at the position during OTAs.

There is nothing he has done thus far in his career that says he can't play the tackle spot, but plenty of people who say he can't based on no evidence at all.

Let's not forget, plenty of "experts" said Orlando Pace would have to move inside in the NFL because he wasn't a "fit" to play LT at that level. The team that drafted him never said that, but plenty of McShays and Kipers did.

He is only 6'3 and he's 320. Doesn't have the atheliticism to play outside. Lucas is a much better tackle than Man Ram and than people give him credit for. He developed nicely as the year went on.

Our best rushing games were Week 16-17 and playoffs we had 4.1 YPC. Lucas at RT.

This is gonna be just what the offense needs to open up the passing attack. Sounds like Ebron is doing well and that can be huge. I see a huge improvement offensively. Still worried about D-Line though. Hopefully Walker takes it to the next level. We should be solid at stopping the run with Ansah and Ngata. Jones has to get healthy but sounds like Webster is ready to kill some QB's. We have an awesome LB crew and D-backfield. I see 11 wins again even with their shitty travel schedule. Can't wait to see a healthy Van Noy and what rookie Abdullah can bring to the table. I have never been this excited about a Lions team.

Ill say if Samsonite pans out that will be one heck of a draft to move things in the right direction. Anytime you can get solid contributions from a 3rd rd pick its a good thing. I hope he starts and does well.
