Doesn't matter. Is he never going to play again then? When they are both at the top of their game Mrazek is better plain and simple. You're rolling the dice either way, but Mrazek is more likely to steal you a game. We have more than enough sample size for Howard to know that he isn't up to the task.

Sadly wings had plenty of chances to score goals. Man some of the guys Holland has let go over others sure have cost us. Another goalie from a different team out plays a wing goalie . Like UM says same Old same old.

It's werid Mantha was sent back because of his -6 lack of defense but dId Anderson even play? The Pp while getting chances just can't score. . So frustrating.

Looks like by Design Tampa Bay was going after Larkin and others .they were real dirty tonight.

I've never seen a team miss the net as much as the Red Wings. Sheahan, Nyquist, both with basically wide open looks. Just hit the fudging net. If the goalie makes a save, so be it. Stop launching it 900 feet over the net.

No matter what happens in these next few days, I have to say this: we have to have get more wins and more goals next year. The #1 goal in the offseason should be to set up the team to work together all year, and then have some success in the postseason 2017. I don't have any favorite players at this point. I mean, Mrazek was pretty successful this year, but I don't have any favorites. Sadly, Datsyuk is going to Russia to (play or coach?) He is kind of my favorite at this point. I want the management and coaching to set us up to win next year. No matter who gets traded, which new player is signed, which veteran or familiar name is let go. I don't care. The sloppy play has to go. This is Hockeytown.

Smith is 'fine' in terms of health and everything. He just cant crack the lineup, which is a sick joke considering how bad our D corps are.

Personally, I would bench Big E and bring in Smith. This is going to be a physical series, and outside of Abby, Smith is one of the only guys on the team who is willing to throw down or stand up for our guys. Ericcson is a massive human but such a freaking pussy its unreal. He plays like hes 5 ft 8...also he just is plain not good. If they struggle again in game two, and get pushed around again, I will be very mad if Smith isnt in the lineup come game 3.
