The hand writing is on the wall

If Raburn is always bad in the first half, how come he had an .842 OPS in the first half in 2009?

Or what about 2008, when he his .767 OPS was much higher than his 2nd half OPS?

For Raburn, it's pretty simple, bench him against GB pitchers and power pitchers.

Against FB and nuetral pitcher, finesse pitchers, and average p/f pitchers, he's a good bat to have in the lineup.

If we stuck Raburn in the OF, then I would be fine with him starting. He is just a terrible terrible 2nd baseman defensively. I do enjoy Raburn's hot bat the last 2 months of the year though :)

Oh snap, post number 100!!! (I think that this 100th post is the reason the Tigers just nabbed a double play to get out of the bottom of the 9th)

This and start him mostly verses LHP only...

Agreed, Raburn should never play 2B.

I don't care what Raburn hits in the 2nd half, there's no place for him on the field. JHC a dropped fly ball, and then he almost trips over his own shoelaces on the next play, besides getting picked off of 1st and getting caught stealing. the Tigers have more than enough fire power to score runs, that they don't need someone in the field to give the runs right back.

The thing with the Raburn hate, for me, why can't he he just hit .280 for both halves. Make it easy. Instead of very good one half to complete shit the other.
