they didnt use the timeout regardless. They had all the time when the clock stopped....and then proceeded to let it run down to 15 secs lol.

The D-line was horrid today, worse IMO than the O-line. Fitz's hesitation makes the O-line look worse. When the play calls for a run to the 4 hole, run to it, and let the hole open up while you're taking your 5 steps to get there. Don't stop, hesitate, and wait cor it to open. By the time he gets to the line, no hole there. Run downhill and plow through.

UM needs DEs who can rush the passer.

BECAUSE they were allowed to get set up. It cost them at least 1 play.

Granted, they're a much more significant opponent than Akron, but if they saw how UM played today, they were probably facepalming.

More than likely the refs gave them the option to use their timeout and put the clock back to :23 or to save their timeout and start play at :15.
