He is supposed to be unblocked. Thats the read in zone read but shae misread it. Should have kept it and it would have been an easy td.

Shea has been the weakest link in the offense so far by a long shot. I really have a hard time believing that he is better than McCaffery. He misses the reads in the run game, misses multiple wide open receivers, then makes shitty throws to wide open guys.

He historically has been praised at the reads and has been very deceptive in the run game. But this has a lot to do with the blocking has been inconsistent.

The blocking has been fine. Not even close to being an issue outside of a handful of play. It's the fact that Shea looks at 1 receiver the whole time and doesn't find the open guy often enough when his first option is covered.
