The Official Cinicinnati vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

Speight needs to improve, but at least he didn't throw any picks.

I thought the playcalling let him down a bit. did Drevno always sit in the box? I thought he was usually on the sideline

One should have been a pick for sure that the defender couldn't haul in.

Isaac went over 100 again, so that should give us hope. If the OL could block, he might have went over 200.

Im on nights, so I just got done watching this display of pig shit being thrown against the wall.

Ill start with Wilting Speight. This guy actually has the tools. Im impressed with his John Navarre-ish arm strength(overthrows). He was a mental midget out there. Mental errors all day. This kid has go to get his head out of his fuckig ass.

Tim Drevno......what the fuck kind of playcalling was that? Your qb is a fucking mental error and you constantly abandoned the run(that was clearly working). Also, you dont run a fucking trap play at the goalline. It takes too long, stupid! The offensive line was fine blocking straight ahead. Give it to Isaac all fucking day, he falls forward for yards.

Don Brown......why in the hell were we in a 3-3-5 when playing a team without a running qb? That was RR shit. If we are running Mone, Hurst, Gary, and Winovich, they dont get any rushing yards. Instead we were spreading ourselves out and allowing big yards with only 3 down lineman. And we also got real lucky when their receivers dropped the wide open throws. That could have been disasterous. This team played horrible. I guess the Cincy sportswriters saw something we didnt. Never could stop the receiver screen EVERY 3rd down.

Ty Isaac is a fucking horse, plain and simple. Give him the game ball.

Speight is good at one thing, avoiding the rush. His accuracy is mediocre at best and he basically makes the passing game a wet dog fart.

Coach doesn't seem too upset. Maybe we need to cut them a break lol.

That's all well and good. There were plenty of positives to take away. However most people's top concern going into the year was QB play. So far nothing we've seen has alleviated those concerns. If anything they are worse.

Speight needs to be better period. Otherwise we will lose all our big games once again. I for one am sick of that.

Because it's a young team, he might be trying to hold off on scaring them to the point of soiling their pants.

Or maybe we're just a bit too harsh. Who knows? 2-0 and I'm cranky.

True. Have you noticed the lack of emotional outrage so far? Last year, he was screaming on the sidelines every game even when we won big.

Tons of mistakes today. Saw first hand guys not knowing where to line up on multiple occasions . Need to clean up the mistakes soon. Team seemed flat at times and the dumb turnovers need to be shored up. Defense played ok. Can't complain with 2 scores but need to be even better.

Jurassic park dinos at half were pretty funny.

Go blue

I hope they are holding back on the running offense and use of the tight ends. They won the game today, that is what counts, and they did it without relying too heavily on TI and the tight ends. They will need to open things up more next week.

No surprise here. I knew before the end of the first quarter it was just a matter of time. Go Blue! 〽️ Ohio State SUCKS.

Not much of Evans today . Like everything has flipped from last sesson

2016
Evans-Higdon-Issac.

2017
Issac-Higdon-Evans.

Still no sign of Walker getting close to the field.

Heard that Walker was injured and not playing today.

Bunting would have had a huge play if Speight managed to see him wide open in the middle of the field. I guess it's too tough to find a 6'7" guy.

Oh well. Defense played good for the most part. Only gave up one legit score. The other was caused by special teams fuckery.
