The Official Indiana vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

They could always burn his redshirt if they wanted or needed him. BUT, with how bad this season has been, I don't think they would. No reason to kill a year of eligibility to save a year like this. Still, I want to see a real Michigan QB. It's been too long.

*facepalm* I was thinking Speight was redshirting NEXT year. Duh. Don't mind me...

Yeah if he was needed they would have burned the Red Shirt, but I see no reason at this point now. Just finish out the season and when the new guy comes in hopefully Speight will get his chance.

I might agree with you except for the fact that his QB has thrown two balls right in the arms of IU defenders. He's been good, but also really bad. There's no point in risking a pick 6 when we get the ball to start the second half. Call it chicken shit all you want, but it's well reasoned chicken shit.

I cant agree with you. This season is lost and this game is in no danger of being lost. Gardner needs practice in the 2 min drill and we may need it against NW and Maryland.

How bout those Maryland Captains not shaking hands at the beginning? I don't believe I've seen that one before?

End of the half is a perfect example why Hoke and his staff have to go... They break off a great run and get the ball out to the 40ish then just shell it up because of Devin. If you want to go conservative there spread the damn field and run a qb draw.... In College football you cannot turn off the gas in less the game is in hand late in the fourth..

So.......the guy fumbles and the rule for 20yrs is he comes out for a lengthy amount of time. What a stupid fucking coach. He has one of the best runners in college and he has a 20yr rule he has to stick to. Smart one coach.

Yeah I don't quite understand that one either? Sure maybe take him out for a series, but that is you're stud back, you need to have him in the game.

Does anyone else feel like Norfleet is the most overhyped, underwhelming player the program has seen in the past twenty years?

This is why you never ever stop trying to score in the first half...
