This game is bringing me back to reality after the domination of ND. Won as expected but didn't crush the Terps as I expected.

Not much passion today, but they did what they needed to do. After getting a talking to, they ripped off 2 good drives with TDs. They're still there and they will be ready in 2 weeks. The O line was standing around in the 1st half, 2nd half they started creating holes and we gashed them. As a fan I hate the week off, but these guys can use some time to heal before the final stretch. I just hope they keep the momentum. Finish out and ruin OSUs season.

They weren't as inspired today. They had back to back night games against top 10 teams. This was Maryland.

Maryland had 2 good drives all game, 70 yard drives in the first half, and scored 0 points off of those drives.

The offense had a few 3nOuts.

A nice, boring 31 point victory against a really poor and boring opponent.

No one got hurt.

Ross was probably today, but didn't play. I'd expect him to be full go against MSU

Bell dressed and got in a few plays. He should be good to go in 2 weeks.

One of the things that bothered me today was uninspired blocking. PJ, Black, and Collins are good receivers, but they suck or don't try enough at blocking.

Eubanks killed a drive with a drop on 1st down and a whiff on 2nd down. I guess he made some plays after that, though.

Haven't gone through whole thread, but did anyone else notice that for everything good said about Michigan there was a "but" and then something negative? Especially from Todd McGay. That dickhead couldn't say anything positive for Michigan it seemed.

I thought the team played well. They didn't play great, but a road win by 30 isn't a bad thing no matter who it is. That team took OSU to the wire last year and Michigan beat them without it ever really being a contest. The defense pitched a shutout (only score was a kickoff return) and they did allow some yards on a few drives but I think it's encouraging that they made adjustments and Maryland wasn't able to keep doing what was working. It's Maryland. They pulled their QB with 16 minutes to go and Maryland was taking 35 seconds to snap the ball every play.

The defense allowed 3.4 yards per play, 2.4 yards per rush and 233 yards overall. They didn't allow any points. The offense produced 331 yards and 31 points. They ran the ball for an average of 4.6 yards and 155 yards. They didn't allow any sacks.

It was a solid performance. No matter what happened they weren't going to impress like last weekend. I'll take a 31 point win on the road over a big ten team any day. It sure as hell beats squeaking by Army.
