I think part of the frustration with the Gattis Offense is that all we fans got since he arrived was hype and description but no first hand exposure. The clandestine, old school nature of Harbaugh and all, I think we might have already seen some cracks in the scheme had fans seen it before MTSU.


And fwiw, if we are held to 4 possessions in another half this year and turn it over three times, I will buy TSmith a Ted Nugent poster.

My main frustration is that it doesn't appear we are really giving Gattis the keys to the offense. Last week was nothing resembling "speed in space". It was the same old shit we have seen since Hoke was hired. MANBALL!

I'm sorry, but that offense doesn't win you jack anymore in college football.

I cannot wrap my head around how we target Nico 3 times against Army. He had a 5'9" CB on him. I'm also not sure how Shea can throw the ball 90 feet over his head when he's open in the endzone.

I think the Offense is pressing a bit and Shea has been hurt/inaccurate. But agree about Nico and some of the obvious missed ...mismatches.

Why not ask your savior Urban Meyer who said that it takes 5-6 games for a new system to set in. It's not the system that's been the problem, it's turnovers on 3 of 4 first half possessions and being limited to 9 total possessions in a game. And not for Nothin but in week 1 they didn't play very well at all and still managed to score 40 with 3 turnovers.

Every team has games where they play down to the competition. You can just say this game was comparable to your beloved Buttguys' game against 5-7 Maryland last year. We'll even ignore the fact that Army won 11 games and took a playoff team to OT and Maryland wasn't even bowl eligible.
