Rutgers is a train wreck. Michigan is a train, wrecking other teams.

Vegas sees this as a bludgeoning with the spread hovering around 40pts with the O/U at whatever amount Michigan wants to hang on them.

This SHOULD be a shutout. This SHOULD be a blowout. Joe Milton SHOULD see extensive playing time. Walk-ons SHOULD be getting ready to see the field.

Post your predictions and supply some analysis if you wish. And as always (not that this game should require any), leave all the woofing and barking for other threads.

Michigan...63
Rutgers......3

they ruin the shutout with a late FG, to Don Brown's chagrin

After the road thrashing of two years ago, I remember reading that NCAA limits travel rosters to around 79 men or something-that?s a major reason the score was so lopsided; there was no super deep depth to go to.

So I doubt walk on?s go on the road.

I don?t think it?s going to be quite as lob cited this time, I will go with 77 to nothing.

EDIT: 74 players. Seems to be a B1G rule.

Joe Milton has appeared in 1 game. Athletes come appear in 4 games and then redshirt. IF they hold out some of these freshmen, then they can use them like regular players the last 3 or 4 games of the season without having to preserve anything. I am thinking that is how they want to play it. Wait until there is only 3 games left, then they can play him as much as they want to. This would apply to Milton and anyone else that has 3 or 4 games left that they can appear in.

Problem is, how many games does Michigan have left? No one knows at this point...

Anyway, I'm going with 52-0, Michigan wins!!

I was going to pick 56-0 but I see that it has already been taken. So, I'll say 60-0 Michigan. The D gets a safety and Nordin gets a fg. Milton gets substantial play time in the second half. Rutgers doesn't cross the 50 on offense.

Twenty Eight to Zero...in the first quarter.

Final score 63-1

Yes, 1. The score is so bad, Brown gifts them a point.

Kudos michdad1, for 1) being the only one to guess Rutgers would get a touchdown, and 2) only being 3 points off on your prediction.

same score as UM-PSU, but this didn't seem as dominant of a win as that one did.

I guess because we gave up that 80 yard run early, and were actually tied.

Seemed to me Rutgers determined they would avoid giving up rushing yards, and so we didn't start blowing them out until we settled on taking what they gave us through the air.

We still ran for 193 yards on 40 carries, but take away Evans' 61 yard rushing TD, and it was 39 rushes for 132 yards. Evans basically spoiled any chance for Rutgers to spin their rushing yards allowed as a small moral victory.

I bet that this is the first time that Michigan has defeated consecutive opponents 42-7.
