Nothing wrong with that play. Guy was open, the throw was there, defender never touched it, Darboh just effing blew it.

But the main culprit there was that stupid ass stone age play on 2nd and 5.

forward momentum stopped. They let him go once the whistle was blown.

Problem is that slants like the one UM just ran is what they have to execute to try to slow down the pass rush that annihilated them last year. Those are the plays we all called for last year as Gardner got his ass handed to him, but Borges wouldn't call.

This year, they call them, and the fan base bitches. That was a good play call, a good throw, and the WR fucking dropped it.

What's worse than the secondary is the pass rush from the DL.

Brennen Beyer has no business being on the field on 2nd & 3rd and long. Absolutely no pass rush moves. Too small and weak to bullrush. Too small and slow to speed rush. Left tackles have to be laughing as they toy with him.

But, he's a senior, so you, well, you know, he practices well and works hard.

Thats funny cuz i was watching him on their last long pass and he was just getting pushed around.

ruled his forward momentum was stopped. Could have been slightly premature...close call.
