The Official Nebraska vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

They did well in the first half, but things went bad in the 2nd half. Well, good win but Nebraska is not good. Can't read too much into this win. I hope it will help build the confidence of the offense.

This

It seems like every game in CFB seems to have targeting call. Coaches have got to drill the kids on this

I really thought this game would be much closer. I expected Nebraska to come out swinging because they had nothing to lose. Michigan was just better on both sides of the ball. I like the fact that we are throwing the ball downfield more now. I do think the OL has gotten better but we will see when we play better teams. We also at least know that if something happens to Shea that Dylan can do it all very well.

The dumb penalties still bug me and I still think we havnt played our best ball yet. This team can and will get better but to beat MSU, PSY, OSU and Wisconsin they will have to get better.

Just got done waching. Some takeaways............. OLine played excellent. What is more shocking is that the 2nd team oline played great, also. Christian Turner is hard to bring down. Higdon played really well. Hutchinson is going to be really good. We now have 2 legit quarterbacks for the 1st time since 2007( Henne, Mallet). Cheap call on DCaff long td run. Harbaugh had this team ready. Too many drops by WRs. Hudson really screwed up, hopfully Glasgow steps up again next week. Thought it would be closer, but Michigan really came to play and ripped Nebraska's heart out in the 1st quarter. Fullback dive was really impressive, Mason just kept falling forward. The push by the oline was excellent.

every team we've played won this week. ND won big. SMU, aka "the worst FBS team" according to my friend, beat Navy. WMU won easily.

One thing we really learned today, is that Nebraska is really pretty bad, like a MAC team. They just kept making mistakes. Michigan's defense totally outmatched their offense. According to what I saw on TV, there are 50 new players, either freshmen, or new in some other fashion. I was excited to see Michigan playing so well!

Plus... so we have Christian McCaffrey's brother as backup QB? What? And he throws good passes.

To me, the only downside to today is Maleek Hudson's roughing the passer penalty and the targeting rule, which will affect next week's game. It's kind of bad, but penalty call makes sense, given the rules. So, as was stated before, these targeting penalties (resulting in ejection) will get definitely us into some trouble if we have a close game.

Yes. The targetting call on Maleek was correct this week. I didn't agree with the one last week. It was just a very dumb play on Maleek's part.

Martellus played well against Nebraska, though. That was a nice thing.

I agree I did not think Nebraska was this bad after watching them play Colorado .

Maleek Hudson? Lol. Sorry too lazy to quote the original.

I used to like Tim Brando but he has lost a few memory cells. He just kept screwing it up over and over.

The game was so dominant, I'm just a touch worried about overconfidence. Nebraska is really bad and there are a lot of quotes about how Nebraska had quit/didn't want to be there. Hopefully it's just the fan base that overreacts to everything.

Yep, loved it when he was talking about the blue chip QB's that Harbaugh has brought in and included Wilton Speight in the list

I agree Maryland has a lot more athletes on offense. I hope we will be ready . Hudson out until the second half is a issue .

Except we play at Northwestern next week lol.
