The truth behind the Lions switch to AM

The Lions have every right to dump negativity especially if they have a business relationship with them.

I'd love it if they could fire fans and writers too.

they deserve the right to work with who they choose. And if that is another radio station, so be it.

I don't think anyone is claiming they aren't free to do so. They could move to one of the AM gospel stations for all I care. I'm just amused by the fact that they're on a station now with no shows truly capable of criticizing (or praising) them.

I'm actually glad the leash is off 97.1. A sports station shouldn't have to hold back because of the teams that broadcast on it.

Haha, you are actually clueless like everyone says.

They are clearly butt hurt. That is obvious. And now you are butt hurt. The butt hurt dominos are falling here.

Lions have every right to get rid of negativity in a business relationship.

Fuck Valenti.

Lol - Im legitimately shocked there are two teams with worse winning percentages....

My guess (without looking it up) is: FL marlins and Cleveland Browns??

I guessing it's the NBA at 1 and 2.

They can bash away. Nobody is stopping them from bashing. But the Lions are in the right to remove negativity like that from obvious bashers.

Lions broadcast network shouldn't be biased against the Lions. That is absurd if you think about it.

And the Lions aren't getting rid of any negativity. It's still going to be there, perhaps even stronger now.

Luckily your dream of the Lions Gestapo is impossible.

I suspect this isn't the first time for a team to do this and for the same reason's.

They are getting rid of negativtiy on their own broadcast network. Lions broadcast network shouldn't be bashing the lions.

Let Valenti talk. He's a hater without facts.

You mean the Lions have the right to be coddled, and told they are that beautiful butterfly their mommies told them they were.

They are in the wrong business if they can't handle criticism when it's deserved.

33% Win Rate.

Fact.

On their own broadcast network that they have a business relationship with this. Yes

Would you tell a client to fuck off and they suckevery day. No

No they CAN'T mandate what a radio talk show says. That basically destroys the concept of freedom of speech/press and we wouldn't have any honest sports talk shows.

Whoever runs the Lions broadcast network should coddle the Lions. Every other radio station can bash them if they want. Not the Lions broadcast.

It would be like the Lions announcers rooting against Detroit during a game. Cheering and clapping when the other team scores. That is Valenti.

They can if you want a job for the Lions as their broadcaster. Not the whole radio but that specific part, they can.

And somene was willing to say what they want.

Good for the Lions. Don't do business with negativity.

You think any of those guys on 97.1 want to be their broadcaster? Dan Miller has that job locked up.

That has nothing to do with the future of this team.

Oh, so you don't believe Valenti should bring up FACTS from the past when talking about the Lions.

You just want to talk about the future. Ok....you said he doesn't use facts, but you want to talk about the future only?

33%.
