Damn - I finally have the day off for a significant game I can't be at (meaning I could post in a thread like this), and I have to watch this thing at my mother-in-laws house. No screaming at the TV, and unless I want to drag my laptop and hotspot there, I won't get to post until after I get home.

This sucks, I get 10 days off in a row and the day I have to go back to work is a gameday. It feels super odd to be at work and have a Michigan game tonight.

Luckily I am leaving work at 6pm tonight. It's only a 9 hour day, but it is already feeling like a 14 hour day! Can't wait to get over to my buddies and in front of the 65" tv. Pour some sugar on me. Someone had to say it.

getting pissed on by the media. more than half of the media predictions i've seen have been for Virginia Tech, yet most fans (not just Michigan fans) favor us...easily. Don't really know what to think about that.

Their excuse for Vatech winning is that they keep hearing people saying we don't belong there and they'll be motivated. Terrible reasoning. All the shit that this team has been through in the previous three years and the seniors that have never won a bowl game....I think that's better motivation to win than "people don't like us".

If Denard plays like he did vs Nebraska and Ohio then I like our chances. We also will need good play up front from the defense. But I really think Martin will be motivated by this being his last game with U of M.
