This Was A Clemsoning

You really should be consulted whenever a new bowl is created or a current bowl needs a name change. The names you come up with beat the Beef O'Brady's Bowl or Go Daddy Bowl any day.
Our team will always give the option to be creative.

If OSU only drops to 11 for getting blown out by an unranked team, they can't penalize Michigan much for getting blown out by the no. 10 team in the country. But they will.

Could still get a decent bowl game. Hell, the Rose Bowl isn't out of the question if OSU gets a playoff spot. I'm just not sure what the outcome would be if Michigan gets a PAC 12 champion, I'd rather face Georgia than another goddamn spread team.

Michigan football ladies and gentlemen.

The offense was putrid. Did you see the 2 point coversions? Imagination on offense is fucking lacking. Yes the defense was the worst of all time, but the offense got points in garbage time for the most part. No adjustments at all. When there is an 8 man rush, you might want to call a fucking screen pass or two to keep them honest, instead of in your quarterbacks fucking face all day. Long developing slow plays against an 8 man front with all the receiver talent we have was a joke.

Yep, offense was garbage. I'm still wondering why they went for 2.

Yep and instead of running out DPJ, Collins, Martin, and Black, I kept seeing McCurry and Ronnie Bell. Are those 2 really better?

Pep stinks but we still scored 30+. Loss is totally on DB's defense. His defense is fine against bad qb's but it did nothing today. Not a damn thing to change this game. It was so bad how badly he was outcoached and out classed.

Don't put all of the blame on the db's. Haskins was clean all day, not one single sack, hardly even a single pressure. It was a total breakdown on D of the dline, LB's, and Db's.

Who cares? We're going to a pointless bowl game. No shot at anything meaningful.

I'm sure trying to win the Tilted Kilt Left Nip Slip Bowl will be an immaculate experience.

If OSU goes to the playoff, then Michigan goes to the Rose Bowl.

but I guess in this day and age, that is pointless...

Washington/Utah...

There's nothing wrong with Brown's defense - it's very good. You could blame the coaches for not having the kids ready and motivated to play but the defense didn't execute - backfield left guys open and the pressure wasn't there. They had a shitty day executing at the wrong time - lesser teams than uofm like Purdue, psu and MSU played the buckeyes WAY better than uofm did today. Maybe uofm doesn't have the #1 defense in the country and the ranking is inflated by playing in the B1G but it's still a great defense. From what I saw today, pride and execution were the difference.

Agreed. Yes one could call into question the quality of some of the Big Ten offenses, but the defensive numbers heading into yesterday were pretty darn impressive.

Yesterday showed why Meyer is as successful as he is. They saw some things they could exploit in the UM defense (ie the crossing patterns and making the UM safeties and linebackers cover in space, especially if the LB's weren't going to be bringing pressure) and they went to it over and over. And UM never really adjusted. They had a plan, and UM thought they would just do what they'd been doing the previous 10 weeks.

I don't think Washington runs the spread and they'd be the most likely opponent from the Pac 12. That's a pretty manageable opponent.

Georgia would be a pretty tough out. I don't know if it would happen, probably not, but I think they should be in the playoff over OU and OSU unless Bama kills them in the SECCG.

I am not sure who out of OU or OSU is more deserving. Both teams have shown plenty of flaws.

It is. You should recognize that from what it takes for us to get there.

OSU is so much better than us that we get to go to the Rose Bowl! Yaaaaaaaay!

I would say that if OU avenges their only loss and beats Texas it should be them. Unless Georgia somehow beats Alabama.

I don't know. I am not sold on OU at all. They've given up 40+ in 4 consecutive weeks and 5 times on the year. I don't care how good their offense is. They have an OT win at home vs Army, OSU has an OT road win vs Maryland. Yes OSU's loss is pretty horrendous to Purdue, but their win over UM tops anything OU has. OSU winning at PSU and OU winning at WVa is a wash. I suppose one could say OU winning at TCU by more should count for something. I don't know.

I think Georgia is a better team than both. Wayyyy more solid defensively but also good enough on O. But I get how if they were to be awarded a spot after losing to Bama, then we might as well do away with the current system.

Quite frankly, I think I'd be putting UCF in that 4 slot and not think twice about if it their QB hadn't just got hurt. Even so, I'm willing to see how they play in their CCG with their backup. I think they showed last year vs Auburn that they shouldn't be discounted.
