Tigers' biggest winner

I was going to say Jack won more but not in a Detroit uniform.

Everybody should know that Hooks Dauss was the Tigers' all-time winning pitcher.

Here's one: This Tiger fell 11 hits short of having four .400-hit seasons. Who is he?

Was that 11 hits averaged out over four seasons, and that Tiger never had any .400 hit seasons?

Not averaged out ... but a total of. Example: three hits in season one, two hits in season two, six in season three.

Not the actual breakdown, but that's the gist of the question. And he had hit .400 one other season. SO the question should actually read "for a total of four .400-hit seasons?"

Winner.

Come on now, lol. We all know only 2 Tigers hit .400 and one has done it multiple times.

True, Mitch, but it could have been a player who never hit .400 as a Tiger. But then I hinted that later on. It's all just conversation in the end.

I'm home almost all day. Oh I know you looking at my post count, you sly dog.
