Porcello blows, and its Dombrowski's fault. He NEEDED more time in the minors to develop his pitches. As is, he has one pitch that works roughly half the time and a bunch of way below average secondary pitches that arent any use when his sinker isnt sinking.


Id love to trade him while he's still worth at least something. I have severe doubts our coaching/upper level staff will ever fix him.

gettin squeezed doesnt matter much when you leave as many pitches up as rick has tonight. we should be surprised that the score isnt 10-2 and not 5-2.

The only out pitch Porcello has relies on contact (2-seam/Sinker) which means he has to throw it in a spot that they will swing at it. Which really sucks with men on base.

If he had spent more time in the minors, maybe he could have developed a swing and miss pitch, that actually got swings and misses.
