biggunsbob[/color]]Man he is pitching so good let Doug go back out in the 9th...

I'm split between agreeing with this or wanting to see Valerde do a big ol dance

Fister 8th inning, Benoit warming up,

allen flys to shallow left and Young has it,

5 more outs,

powell grounder to Santiago and he throws to Cabrera,

4 more outs,

sogard fly to shallow left near the foul line and Young races in and makes the catch in traffic with Peralta and Inge,

3 more outs,

Fister 91 pitches, 8 innings, 1 run, 3 hits, 5 strikeouts,

Tigers lead 3 - 1.

Did you hear that... The DY trade was done with 6minutes to spare... Talk about getting it in under the wire...

Tigers 9th inning,

Jackson fouls it back, curve in the dirt, fastball inside, fouled down right out of play, broken bat liner to first,

Kelly strike call, changeup outside and high, fastball swings and misses, curve ground foul, swings and misses a changeup,

Young fouls it back, curve inside, fouled back, curve in the dirt, chases outside,

Tigers lead 3 - 1.
