Tigers vs. braves Spring Training March 31

Tigers batting 6th inning,

Boesch flys out to right,

Cabrera grounds out to second,

Fielder flys out to right.

Verlander pitching 6th inning,

pastrami grounds out to Cabrera,

pinch hitter for pitcher is diaz strikes out swinging,

bourne with a soft single to right,

Leyland in tough spot here. Doesn't want JV to get hurt pitching in rain, but wanted to stretch him out to 100 pitches,

sutton lines to Clete,

Tigers lead 2 - 1.

Tigers batting 7th inning,

Dirks batting,.........rain delay........

My stomach is doing knots over the thought that Price and Dickerson had, that the final position player spot is between Inge and Worth......and Worth at least has an option left....

Meaning the brass might take Inge and send worth to Toledo because Danny has options, makes me wish he didn't then no funny business could happen over finally shit-canning this cancer who calls himself Inge.

Tigers game delayed by DOWNPOUR,

about an inning of rain, here comes the downpour. And on comes the tarp. Tigers up 2-1 in delay in top 7th,

Safe to say that will be it for Verlander, who goes six innings with a run on four hits and five K's in his final spring tuneup. per Beck

Looks like they called it a final, game called after seven minute delay -
SEVEN MINUTES - a record?
Tigers win 2 - 1.
