add another game to the list of "worst losses this year". we got shut down by a fucking awful pitcher in maholm, we played shitty defense, we scored in only ONE inning (which we should have had more runs in)...and the umps fucked us yet again.


i just watched both replays, the first error he was out but with really slow-mo...dunno if i can blame the ump for that, in real time it looked like he was off the bag. peralta just made a fucking awful throw.

on the 2nd error though, he is clearly fucking out and the score should have stayed tied.

Almost to the point of giving up. You simply don't lose to the worst team in the fucking MLB and expect to win the division.

The Rangers lost 5 of 8 games to the Twins last year.

What about Prince's "stab" at the ball? Also the act of fielding the ball includes making a throw accurately and on time. Peralta almost threw it into RF on one and couldn't get it to Fielder on the next. Those three plays are all routine ground balls that should have been fielded for an out.

I think the tigers are now 4-3 in inter-league play now.. But they should be at worse 5-2 or 6-1 if they would have won tonight... Jim gave Friday's game away.. Oh well just another tough debacle of a loss to fall 6 back... Freaking maddening...

Gimme a bit to get the video loaded up, because i just watched it like 4 times, ball in glove, foot on bag....all 4 times, maybe you watched a different game.

thats part of it. mostly though its that most of our lineup fucking blows. right now we have ajax, cabrera and fielder and the rest are marginal at best with most of them being fucking awful. boesch, young, laird, santiago, berry, and worth are all bench players at best who are starting due to lack of replacements or injury, and we have the pitcher hitting too in an NL stadium. peralta is average at best this year (below average most likely). you're not really going to score many runs with that lineup, especially on a night when the wind is blowing in at wrigley.

those 3 losses:

vs Pittsburgh - awful offense again, smyly served up meatballs to McCutchen which was beyond stupid

vs Cincy - we would have won that game if not for leyland being fucking retarded and putting in whats-his-face

tonight - offense blew again, defense blew again, umps fucked us again. same old same old. we could easily be 7-0 or 6-1 (and should be at LEAST 5-2), but we're not. its pathetic and inexcusable.
