Tigers vs. cubs Game Thread June 12

Gimme a bit to get the video loaded up, because i just watched it like 4 times, ball in glove, foot on bag....all 4 times, maybe you watched a different game.

Even the Cubs announcers said his foot was on the bag.

The video I watched for FSD showed Prince's foot coming off the bag before the ball was in his glove and Mario and Rod agreed with the call.

thats part of it. mostly though its that most of our lineup fucking blows. right now we have ajax, cabrera and fielder and the rest are marginal at best with most of them being fucking awful. boesch, young, laird, santiago, berry, and worth are all bench players at best who are starting due to lack of replacements or injury, and we have the pitcher hitting too in an NL stadium. peralta is average at best this year (below average most likely). you're not really going to score many runs with that lineup, especially on a night when the wind is blowing in at wrigley.

Well the cubs were 20-40 so all of that should have swung back in our favor.. Still umpires have to be better... How many games have they costs us now?

Prince's foot was not on the bag because of Peralta's off target and under thrown ball. The second one hit to Peralta that he messed up.

more than a handful. we still have to try to overcome bad calls, but the amount of times we've been straight up fucked by the umps is absolutely inexcusable. if i hear "the human element" one more time im gonna go on a fucking rampage a la Archer.

If you watch the vid, Fielders foot does not come off the bag until Castro steps on it, well after he had the ball.

So you show me a video of a play where you can barely see Prince's foot over the bag, but on FSD they have video of the foot and the bag and his foot is off, but I'm wrong. Mario and Rod always make a comment if it is a bad call, they were complaining about the Santiago call for about 10 minutes after, I think they would have said something if Fielder's foot was on the bag.

Coke is apparently going off on Tigers Live directly to the camera saying flat out that both players were out. Betcha he gets fined, but its the fuckin truth. Im glad someone on the team had the balls to directly call out the umpires finally.

Well the Tigers were playing much better and Jim's decisions were easier then.. What do you want us to do... Build a fire and sing songs... Get us back to first place and we can all be love-dovy again.. We are all just pissed off... Nothing wrong with that..Team should be playing better then it is... When was our last 3 game winning streak? Damn it hurts to lose and we all bleed Tigers... And games we are suppose to win no less.. Games that umpires take away from us no less.. it all hurts...
