Tigers vs. cubs Game Thread June 13

Any spitballs tonight?

You would think he would just go to the old bit of Vaseline inside the rim of his cap trick of he wanted to doctor the ball.

I still think it was chewing gum.

Dame there goes Valverde's streak.

15 straight at least until then.

slap single for the gnat, those damn gnats you just can't ever swat em away..

AJax saving Valverde's ass.

Whats a Tigers win with a little roller-coaster ride at the end?

Still don't know why Jim insists on putting Valverde out there in a non-closing situation. Oh well...whew...good win.

he's usually not bad with big leads, its tie games he should never be in during because he usually blows it.

People who don't understand why Wins as a stat for pitchers should never be relied on can just look at this game and see Porcello got the W, after being just shy of absolutely terrible.

Just have to look at CC and his 3.8 with 8 wins to see that W aren't a big stat.

TIGERS VICTORY SHOT!

Boesch's good hitting seems to be bleeding over to his defensive play. Me like me like....

Just got a text from Curtis. Him and his friends are at the game by the left field foul pole and he says it is easy over 50% Tiger fans at the game...

I was like 50 rows up on the Tigers first base side... The chants were so loud.... Was a boring first part of the game until the bats came alive! One of my favorite Tiger games I have every attended... Wrigley totally reminds me of Tiger Stadium.
