Tigers vs. Indians Game Thread - 7/24

Hindsight call, but maybe we should have pulled Fister after 6. Gone with BV or Dotel.

His pitch count is low. We'd say the opposite if we brought someone else in and the same thing happened. Hopefully we get a couple more runs and it becomes a moot point.

His pitch count is low, but he's not locating or making good pitches.

It would be dumb to lose a game because we wont pull a struggling starter because his pitch count is still reasonable.

Well if we're going to pull it out nobody I'd rather see eat shit than assface Perez.

Sure, why not Phil Choke...not like we want to win this thing Smokes.

How hard it is to walk Delmon (9 in 338 ABs coming in),
and Boesch (15 BB in 334 ABs before today).

Second double play the Tigers have hit into tonight. 90 on the season, third-most in MLB.

Avila hitting just .208 in July after that AB, season average down to .234

Imagine how good this team would be if some of those numbers changed for the better.

Seriously, Coke should never pitch against a Right-Hander again.

they eat his lunch.

That was a good pitch. He just went down and got it.

Go look at his splits, you can;t make excuses for what righthanders do off Coke.

and he's not great vs. lefties either.

I never said he was good against righties but that was an example of a righthander hitting a good pitch.
