The Tigers posted a lineup just before batting practice with Austin Jackson back in the leadoff spot in center field. He was going to take full batting practice, run the bases and shag fly balls as a final test. Shortly after that lineup went up, Jackson was scratched and a new lineup was posted. The Tigers are hitting as I type this, and Jackson isn’t out there, so this presumably isn’t just a precaution.
First start for Ramon Santiago in leadoff spot since 9/25/08. Just third time leading off for Tigers since he was a rookie in 2002.

The Tigers last loss to the Indians was last August 10 before defeating the Tribe in 10 consecutive games and three straight series sweeps to finish the year.

Jackson has been scratched from tonight's lineup. Santiago will lead off and play second base. Kelly will bat ninth and play center field.

The recommendations I saw were bat Dirks leadoff...he's still 2nd.

Replacing Kelly with Santiago is no gain.

Seriously, FSDs camera angles have been horrible this year.

They were zoomed in on some retarded overhead angle of the runner so we didn't even get to see Santiago play the ball.

And there's no way that shouldn't be a DP.
