Tigers vs. indians Game Thread Sept. 15

Miggy could have been rung up...just a hair outside...3-2 pitch strikes him out looking. Great pitch.

5 high-heat fastballs all in a row then gets him with a slow bender.

Really was a smart pitch.

Benoit again just to make sure he's not available for the soxs Monday?

Already pitched to one batter and K'd him last inning.

LOL @ myself...somebody made a Coke Joke a while back over on the Michigan Wolverines board...

Been paying more attention to Michigan; don't have either the Tigers or Michigan on television today; how bad does THAT suck...?

Jim really needs to learn how to manage a pen, one swing away from losing after a no no through almost 7, unreal.

What does pen management have to do with how pitchers pitch?

3 of the last 4 games Benoit or is it 4 of 5, even with leads of more than 3.. when was the last time Al Al pitched?

Maybe so, and I don't know the last time AlAl pitched, but Benoit is the primary setup man. So I cant see how using him in that situation was a bullpen management problem.

Benoit failed to do the job, if anyone deserves the blame it's him.

My argument would be that it was unnecessary to use him yesterday up 4-0 maybe he would have been sharper today if not for that misuse IMO.

JMO!!

Doesn't Ben Noyt still get credit for the hold, as long as the Tigers hang on to the lead?
