Tigers vs. indians Game Thread Sept. 5

Good thing we're in Comerica, otherwise Krapnis just got himself a dinger.

Huge inning there, a much needed win.

Cabrera keeps the batting lead .3302 to .3297/ Now ahead in the RBI race 116-114. Only 3 HRs behind the triple crown.

He has a serious shot at the Triple Crown with 26 games left. Monster year, OPS up to .995.

Nice quick inning Papa G. Looked like a dismal night again, but in the end the bats woke up and we got a much needed win. Fister deserved that win and Miggy was Miggy.

Don't forget the Gold Glove Award.

Needed this... 4-2 home stand... Could have been so much better though.... Need to get our road shoes on!!!

Tigers win 7 - 1,
Fister with his 8th win,
Cabrera and Fielder Homeruns,
TigersVictoryCigar,

Fister's final line: 7IP, 4H 1ER, 1BB/7K...7th time he's gone 7+ in last 10GS, after going 7+ just once in first 11 starts...

Can't the friggin' White Sox ever lose when the Tigers win when the two teams aren't playing???

yea we didn't get swept at home to the 20 games below .500 tribe

You do know that it is the nature of this game, right?

No team in the American League is good enough to have won 3 out of every 5 games, and no team is as bad enough to have not won more than 2 out of every 5 games.

That means that every team in the American League is separated by less than one win out of every five games.

It has always been called "a game of inches..."

20-19 now combined against Cleveland, KC and Minn? gotta do better than that.
