That is how you lose playoff games.. JV can't let Duncan beat him twice.
First one you can live with.... Not the second 0-2 homer.... It was a terrible waste pitch that caught to much of the plate even if it was high.. JV has to be better... That type of pitch has always been the knock on JV before this year.. He would always make some dumb mistake that would cost him a few games....

JV's ego might have cost him on the second one, everyone is saying he should have thrown a curve or a fastball off the corner. He will learn from it.[/quote:ue9ld59l]
i had hoped he wouldve stopped doing that by now.

Exactly... But will he learn from it...He thinks he can over power everyone.... Fuck all he had to to is waste one off the plate and Duncan probably k's... If not on the first try the second try for sure...

Last player with two home runs off Verlander in a game. Carlos Quentin of the White Sox on 4/22 this year.

and VMart had been hitting .615 with the bases loaded before that last AB, with 21 RBI in 18 PA.

Chance to bury the Indians today for sure and we have to worry about JV"s ego because a guy hit a homer off him earlier in the game... We all know it was not even close to smart pitching.. He supplied all the power Duncan needed...

Verlander 6th inning,

fuckudome fouling off pitches full count, c'sucker fouls another, grounds to Santiago,

assdrivelcabrera changeup fouled back, ground foul, fastball inside, popped up to Betemit,

f'n'c'suckinhotdogsantana swings and misses a changeup, curve low, fastball inside, checkswing strike call, low full count, ground foul, inside and f'n bugeyes walks,

thome fastball strike call inside corner, curve low, curve strike call, throw to first, curve low and f'face steals second, strike call fastball,

Verlander 113 pitches, 4 runs, just 3 hits, 2 walks, 8 strikeouts,

4 - 2.

I think all of you need to get over that 2nd HR. JV thought he could get the fast ball by him and he didn't. Most likely he missed his spot more than anything.

c'mon guys, dont waste this! we seem to waste 2-on none-out opportunities FAR too often.
