Many MLB teams are teaching their hitters a 17% launch angle - one reason why strikeouts are skyrocketing. The greatest pull hitter in the game's history was Ted Williams who only used a 5%-9% (max) launch angle. Good thing Ted's no longer around to see what's going on today...
Another bon mot from Detroit Tigers Blathering Blithering Idiot GM, Al Avila: ?We actually expected the bullpen to be better. That?s been some mixed results.? For the record, Detroit's relievers rank as the worst in MLB with a 5.75 ERA. Nothing "mixed" about it.
More Babbling from the Buffoon of All MLB GM's Al Avila: "We've had tremendous pitching performances, and then all of a sudden, we make an error here and an error there." Reality: 31 errors in 48 games and rank as MLB's worst team defensively.
What a Fucking Stupid Putz!!!
Totally Tigers
