If anyone gets MLB.tv, you can watch Oakland and the Cuban guys debut at 3pm.

Don't make too much out of Inge batting up in order. It's just a way to get Inge an extra AB without playing him deeper into game.

Matt Hoffman ready to pitch again for Tigers after taking comebacker off knee last Sunday. He'll get an inning tomorrow if not today.

Did anyone know about this in recent time?

I listen to almost every game, and had no idea.

First I had read about it. Prayers for Jim Price...
I guess, from postings that some think he isn't that good at announcing with Dickerson, and talks about, maybe too much of the years he played with the Tigers and/or his role with the team those years. It's probably what means the most to him, it's what he 'holds' on to and in his job/position is a daily reminder which he adds to the broadcast.
Price Loves his Tigers, like the rest of us.

Verlander 3 innings 0 runs 2 hits 3 strikeouts.
Three strikeouts thru three innings for Verlander, all on different pitches (curveball, changeup, fastball). He is ahead of hitters.

8 straight balls and Miguel swings at the first pitch. I don't care if it is ST, that just isn't smart baseball.

I would not be surprised one bit to see crosby pitch during the Tiger's fifth game of the season

WoW...8 straight balls, then first pitch swinging for Miguel, Prince, Delmon and Brennan. I can see not much has changed with this team.

Verlander's day is finished. Four scoreless innings with four strikeouts -- he's the first Tigers pitcher to work four innings this spring.
Four shutout innings for Verlander. Casey Crosby takes over 5th. Verlander this spring 6 scoreless innings, 4 hits.

Alex Avila cuts down Danny Espinosa trying to steal to end the fourth. Avila has thrown out two runners trying to steal today.

Brennan Boesch drills a solo home run off the scoreboard to make it 3-0 in the fourth inning.
Boesch homers high off the scoreboard in RF for his 2nd homer of the spring. 3-0 Tigers in 4th.

Lakeland colleague Dick Scanlan points out that Tigers have hit 17 home runs this spring, allowed one.

Casey Crosby hitting 94-95 on radar gun in 1-2-3 5th inning. Tigers lead 3-0 at midway point.

Delmon Young RBI double. 4-0 Tigers in the fifth.

Santiago replaces Inge
Ciriaco in for Cabrera
Avisail Garcia in for Boesch
Argenis Diaz in for Peralta
Brantley in for Avila
Matt Young in for Jackson
