Rick Porcello is the only Detroit Tigers pitcher left with two scheduled starts in the regular season. He will make one of them tonight when the Tigers play the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of a four-game series.

Leyland said Betemit is feeling better, but with tonight being a cold, damp night, he likely won't play.

All I can say is they better win tonight.... Be back later tonight... Get us in Boy's!!!

Id switch ramom and kelly in the lineup but I like the players he has on the field

Agree.

Ramon is a natural #2 hitter IMO, simply because he is a wizard at sacrificing.

Kelly, while hitting better, should never bat in the top 5.

Hope that Peralta's bat starts to heat up prior to the postseason, as his offensive stats for the month of Sept has been mediocre at best, if not outright sub-par w/ xbh consisting of only one homer and two doubles early in the month, along with three multi-hit games, and an OPS of .594...blah.

:-/.

I think Rick Porcello has learned a lot this year. Seems like he is pitching pretty good again

ERA just below 5.

Porcello is marginally better than Penny.

He can still get better though.

There are two Porcellos...the good Porcello...and the turrible Porcello. Does not seem to be an inbetween this year.

Come on Rick....

I'm hoping for a 3 game sweep in the ALDS.

I don't like our chances with Ricky.

With Penny going in the last game of this 4 game home series, the O's could take 3 of 4 if the Tigers lose tonight.

Shit, little buddy burned trying to stretch a single into a double.

I dont want to see Ricky start in the playoffs. But if the choice is him or Penny....i guess it has to be Rick.

Relatively uneventful inning for Rick in the top of the 4th...

Congrats Miggy on his 100th RBI but other than that, this offense is trash tonight..

Wow do some of these umps even know the rules anymore? LOL that was a horrible call in are favor or not that was horrible.
