Tigers vs. orioles Game Thread September 23

wtf Dirks do your job..... That being said I couldn't hit that pitch, ha.

Jhonny must've telepathically sensed my earlier post about his lack of xbh this month..heh!!

In games that still have increasingly remote but still possible postseason implications, Yanks-BoSox rained out, Jays lead Rays 4-0 after 4 1/2, Braves lead Nats 3-1 in top 5th and the on the verge of elimination Giants vs @ Diamondbacks late. A's vs @ Angels late, Cubs vs @ Cards just started.

C'mon Tampa! If the Cards come back and make the postseason after the collapse the other night, it will be amazing.

Jays tacked on another run, if the Rays lose, they have to hope for a DH sweep by NYY. (sure ain't looking like they're gonna overtake the Red Sox after their run of wins, unless they come from behind in this game now)

No. I think Anaheim and TB are gonna run out of time.

AAvila starts off the bottom of the seventh with a single, but gets to be part of a GIDP by Pheralta, Dirks flys out no Tigers' rally there, still tied 3-3.

Porcello: 107 pitches...7 IP, 9 hits, 3 ER, 1 BB, 4 Ks. Not too bad all considered.

Thats all for Ricky, Coke in to relieve in the top of the 8th

Guerrero has always been fun to watch...except against your own team.

Rays being one hit by the Jays' Morrow, ex-Tiger Joyce has the sole Rays hit, an IF single.
