Tigers vs. rangers ALCS Game 4 Thread Oct. 12

INGE!!!!

I Will never say a bad word about inge ever again... if we win this game ;)

looking back i love that comment by the announcer right before inge's at bat "inge doesn't hit many home runs anymore....."!

OK, that was fricking awesome, on the replay they showed, Inge was chewing his gum through the whole swing, just as relaxed as could be.

0-2, 2 outs, Inge drills a 98 mph fastball over the fence??? Are you kidding me???

Inge and Kelly have had good Post Season all in all, why cuz nobody expects them to do anything, no pressure. the rest of the bats (easier said of course) need to get into the same mindset it's how you relax and do what you do. it's all in their head.

Boy did that announcer so have that coming lmao. "INGE with no power at all no more" lmfao.

I know he said only 3 regular season homers and then boom!!!!

Nice stat to include on this.

"Brandon Inge has 1 career regular season HR on an 0-2 pitch. It came on June 23, 2006 vs Chris Carpenter."

I know Inge has 4 homers this season. 2 were walk offs, 1 was his first at bat in his first game back from his demotion and the other was this one. They may be very few, but they are dramatic.

I think Inge is exempt from the 24/7 trash talking we usually give him for like 20 minutes. ;)

If AJax has a good game today I think the Tigers win. I think Miggy finally is out of his slump and I expect him to do well. The contribution from an unlikely source will be Cringe. both starting pitchers will struggle. Tigers win 8-6.

I noticed the same thing with the gum.
