Tigers vs. rangers ALCS Game 6 Thread Oct. 15

THis game kinda hurts, I mean when the Tigers hit the first two bombs, I thought they had a great chance to win, then I was demoralized by the 3rd inning.. >.<..

I don't get the move to Schlerith. That guy has been coming in to give up hits to left handers all year. In reality though, it comes down to not getting hits in 2 games that went extra innings. Avila really hurt us when he took the post season off.

Well guys I have definitely enjoyed this new board and enjoyed this baseball year with you guys. Lets tip our cap and hope we make some changes this offseason so we can hopefully do some celebrating next season.

Don't cheer too hard secessionists, this isn't the last series, your rump-rangers still have to beat likely LaRussa and the Cardinals in the World Series..

Disappointing ending to a great season.
Not many of us, if any, expected a 95 win regular season early on. The win streak, JV, Miggy, great years from many other Tigers players.
Then they beat the yankees in the ALDS. Injuries played a role in all this, and some players not performing.
I love our Tigers team win or lose.
Sucks no more games.
Everyone here is great and show their passion every game the Tigers played.
I am proud as hell to be here with all of you since early August.
Lets have a good offseason in Trades and FA.
and root on the Lions and RedWings.

I will enjoy our hot stove league over the winter here, and then await the rebirth of spring and the Tigers pitchers and catchers reporting in February, like I have for decades, God willing.

:)

I think in all my years I have never seen a team not at least acknowledge the losing team like Texas just did. Not one mention of the Tigers at all.

I have not been on this board as much as usual lately because I was frustrated by all the negative and sometimes hateful comments made about our team, by fans of our team.

I was actually ashamed to read some of it.

Now they we are done, I ask everyone to let their blood pressure relax a little and look back at the season our Tigers gave to us.

And maybe find some humility.

Yeah I couldn't agree more but I personally always look forward to spring training simply because it gives me a chance to actually set down with several Tigers. This one leaves a sour taste in my mouth though and I am sure it will the players/coaches/staff and Mr Ilitch as well.

Great season everyone. I'll check in here once in a while. Might even report on the stuff I see here in AZ Fall League, though I'm not in the mood to much care what they do at the moment.
Next year???
I can see the Indians possibly getting better along with KC. The Twins & Chi...not so much.
The Tigers could win the Central again. It could happen.

at least we got a fresh Benoit and Valverde in the bullpen. why didn't he use Benoit earlier to put out the fire, no sense saving him when you don't need him. instead of bringing in Schlereth, they should have brought in Benoit to put out the fire with only 3 runs so far, and then deal with the later innings later. instead they get 9 runs and the game was over for all intentional purpose, with Benoit and Valverde in the bullpen and never used. pathetic piece of managing.
