Tigers vs. rangers Game Thread June 25

For him it was a good ab this year... But you are right he is not see the ball or hitting it hard at all... maybe his thumb injury is still bothering him...
Judging by his hitting AND fielding, I'd say he's got an eye injury.

See, every single guy in the lineup put solid wood on this kid, and Boesch saw a ton of pitches.

Gotta send him down to work with Bull Durham, because he's lost.

Lets hope the Tigers don't let the bats go cold after this inning, not that they would ever do that or anything.

Tigers batting 1st inning in 100 degree temperature,

Jackson with a leadoff double, another XBH,

Berry shows bunt and is nearly hit, rookie f'ker threw way inside, swings and misses, bunt down third and Berry is safe no one covers first Jackson to third,

Cabrera drives it deep to the right center field wall for a double and Jackson and Berry score,
Boom,

Tigers lead 2 - 0,

Fielder takes a curve inside, another pitch inside, curve strike call, curve high, fouled back full count, grounder deep to third thrown out and Cabrera waits for scowl face to throw and runs to third,

Young line drive single to center and Cabrera scores,

Tigers lead 3 - 0,

pitching coach out to talk,

Boesch strike call, inside, swings at a curve low and fouled, throw to first, letter high is fouled back, another curve low and in is ground foul, again, fastball is fouled back, throw to first, fouls another, check swing low in the dirt, grounder to pitcher throw to first Young to second,

Peralta takes low, fastball swings and misses, curve line drive down left for an rbi double Young scores,

Tigers lead 4 - 0,

Santiago takes a fastball in, line drive single to center and Peralta scores,

Tigers lead 5 - 0,

pitching coach on the bullpen phone,

Laird curve is low, strike call on the corner, line drive single to right Santiago to second,

Jackson curve is ground foul, curve in the dirt, pitch off the outside corner called a strike, fastball fouled back, curve in the dirt, inside full count, runners going fly to left,

40 pitches for rangers pitcher,

Tigers lead 5 - 0,

Don't you F'k this lead up Porcello.

*Mental message to Porcello*: Keep the ball down Rick and we're going to be okay.

Yes i agree he has needed to be sent down for awhile now but i would rather keep him long term over Young..

Thankfully I have Dan and Jim on the Gameday radio, mlb extra innings always has the home teams tv announcers.
Didn't show the childish hand clapping rangers manager ron washington and his bald head.
Bet when he wakes up in the morning he washes his face and combs his ass.

Last time they batted around was May 15th against the Sux in an 8 run 6th. Tigers sent 11 batters to the plate in that inning.

That's why I'm saying send him down, he has potential if he can ever fix whatevers wrong.

Young I would just put on waivers tomorrow.
