There are many question marks about who will make the Opening Day roster.
The injuries of unknown length to both Matt Vierling and Parker Meadows have added to the intrigue.
In the infield, multiple new candidates have emerged over 3B. There are at least 4 players who stand to benefit with the injury to Vierling.
Spencer Torkelson may technically be out of a home now that Colt Keith is taking over 1B. And Justyn-Henry Malloy is said to be playing well there and he plays multiple positions unlike Tork which gives him an advantage.
And then there is the battle over SS. Will it be Javy Baez or Trey Sweeney taking over the majority of the work?

The outfield has now gotten interesting with the loss of Meadows and Vierling. Who will take over CF? Who will become the RF? Will Kerry Carpenter tame his struggles with hitting LHP enough to get the job full-time?
And what about newcomer Jahmai Jones?

Which one of these battles – the infield or outfield – is the most interesting to watch?

I voted infield. All the Tigers did by adding Torres is add a problem, not a solution.
