Tigers vs. reds Game Thread June 8

This reminds mo of that scene in Bull Durham where Nuke is pitching and you see one ball after another flying by him. LOL

4 pitch walk to a .125 hitter....was that the plan or does ricky just suck?

Seems like every year we wait for Porcello to take that next step and he never does. *sigh*

He got all flustered after the HR and starting over throwing, Jones had to go out their and telling the knock it the fuck off, of course whose idea it was to even pitch to him is the f'en idiot.

Dumb baseball team down 4-0...
Smart baseball team would be down 2-0...

I don't think we can score more than 4 runs 3 days in a row

True, but it's only partially Porcello's fault.

Tigers screwed him by rushing him up to MLB level instead of letting him develop secondary pitches like he should have.

His changeup and slider are both garbage because they are making constant tweaks to them, and therefore has no out pitch except his 2-seamer, which half the time won't sink.

boesch has such an ugly swing lol.

i like the result though.

Question is, is he seeing the ball better or getting better pitches in front of Cabrera and Fielder?

Well Boesch hits one out...but unless he hits one a day for a few games, I still say send his ass down to AAA and get his head unfucked.

Actually he has a smooth swing when he keeps his hands back and doesn't rip with his front shoulder. His setup from the last couple days has looked like last years swing.
