Get StartedWhy is our farm system so bare? Is it because DD drafts mostly pitchers?
the only possible bright spot about tomorrow would be if blue-eye shows up for a third consecutive game...but given his pattern of 2 bad, 2 good i doubt it (or was that porcello's pattern?). either way, i dont feel good about tomorrow.
that would involve blowing up just about the entire team and starting from scratch. you cant do that midseason. really we cant do it at all what with the contracts we've already given out, the barren status of our minor league system, the way DD drafts (he NEVER gets those types of players), and the price free agent replacements would likely cost.Makes no difference, i'd almost prefer it if they just kept losing for awhile, maybe it's the only way to do what needs to be done. It might be time for change closer to the top. We need to build the the starting staff around an offense that can work a count and go up there with a game plan AB over AB instead of so many free swingers

Someone needs to be held accountable for this lack luster offense.
How about the guys on the lackluster offense?
On paper we should be tearing the cover off the ball, but everone from Cabrera down to Raburn with the exception of Ajax and Dirks are under their norms, you can't hang that on DD.
