Tigers vs. royals Game Thread April 17

Chen at 82 pitches after 5, even with guys like Young, Raburn, and Dirks first pitch swinging.

These non over powering guys always give us fits, not sure why completely but as for tonight specially, IMO some are taking too many strikes against Chen. It seems like it's a constant battle with this offense going back and forth between too aggressive and not aggressive enough.

Damn, one of those ABs that just ruins a pitcher's count. Wow, 13 pitch AB.

Gotta be hard to get your timing right on a guy who's fastball tops out at 88 mph, and throws a lot of slow breaking stuff.

I hope my gamecast is wrong...i just clicked on it and it says Chen has 7 Ks already -.-

Wings get a huge break. Nashville scored a goal and they're not allowing it because the ref lost sight of it.

Smyly gets out of a jam. He's above 100 pitches so his night will be over.

6 IP, 7 hits, 1 run, 1 BB, 4 K's 101 pitches. 0.90 era on the season.

Come on boys time for some runs. Get the kid a win for his hard work.

Well, you can't ask for much more out of Smyly than that. Now let's get some runs.

101 pitches, probably done.

But Smyly looking good, 0.90 ERA after 2 starts, pretty good so far for a 5th starter.

ridiculous. shots are 33-13. we go off the post...they score in a wide open net lol. dumb game.
