Well at least the tigers won tonight... It is apparent that the Lou Whitaker bat only works for baseball not Hockey... I tried to get the double win with it to no avail with my Wing's shirt and hat , and Lou bat.....

A lot of positives to take out of this game. Smyly had a great start, Dotel looks strong so far, Benoit and Valverde are starting to look good. Cabrera and Prince with 2 hits each. Good tough road win.

Was just thinking the same 8-3 without any major offense. Sure doesn't feel like 8-3 does it.

No it doesn't but I'll gladly take the pitching over the hitting right now. It's nice to know we can win low scoring games too. We all thought we would be bad defensively so it's a bit surprising we can win some low scoring games so far...and we don't have to win every game 10-9.

This is a fantastic win that no one will remember later in the year. Their guy shut us down and our 5th starter answered the challenge. The big bats showed up late and the relievers slammed the door shut.
