His bat just hasn't been the same this year, i'm not convinced his knee is 100% he drives off the back leg and that not being 100% isn't helping.

Unless you think Avila is one of the 5 greatest catchers to ever play the game, that was to be expected.

You mite be right of the knee. And should that be the case why risk him when Laird is having a good season? After all he has not hit very many HR's lately. But again who's a hitting behind him?


This mite sound crazy, but why not try him in the 3 spot and his good OBP,and move Cabrera to the 5 spot for a game and see what happens? IMO it can not be any worst than what they got right now!
