Really? Why would the fact the Nations credit rating dipped a smidge raise interest rates?

I realize it's not good, but don;t we still have the best credit of any nation?

I realize it's not good, but don;t we still have the best credit of any nation?

I don't know if we do or don't have the best. But from what the economists said, the change in rating will result in an increase in the rate the govt. borrows money resulting in an increase on the folks. Made it sound all Jimmy Carter when we had 20% interest rates.

I feel a bit of obligation to posting on both boards for now. and with all the posters from espn looking for the link to here, that too has kept me fairly busy the past 2 nights.
So until the new boards I will maybe do some, but not alot.
