Tigers vs. royals Game Thread July 8

Rod said something about rumors of castellanos starting to take some outfield. Interesting..

I think if he goes next Sunday, he'll miss the Angels entirely.

I thought I heard Dickerson say Verlander was pitching game 2 of the Baltimore series?

If so he should pitch the last game vs. the Angels.

Great way to close out the 1st half! Tough schedule coming up after the break, but this team appears ready to start clicking.

Is it because JV is going to the AS game? Stupid game, he should go game 1.

Yeah, Dickerson mentioned Fister was going to go game 1 vs. Baltimore in order to give Verlander an extra days rest.

But Johnny might be right, if he goes Sunday that will be 5 full days since the AS game, but Dickerson said "a" days rest, so I'm assuming that means Verlander goes game 2.

Yep, lots of games vs. Chicago and Cleveland, if we're going to do anything it has to be against them.

Nice 9th OD!

5 game win streak!

2 games over .500

AS break =\

5-2 home stand, bout what we expected, hoped to gain more on 2nd and 1st before the break but hey they got hot also, what can ya do..

Run Diff now on the + side!

I can't wait to watch the replays. Tigers played long ball today!!!!.. Smartphones are fun... You can check scores... Big plus for me worry about the tiger!!!!

Only the second blown save for Chris Perez this year. Tribe and Rays knotted at 6 in the 9th. Sox catching up but still trailing.

I would be really nice if they could both lose today. And Tampa takes the lead!

It's Ron Washington we're talking about he'll want his Rangers in there as soon as possible, I'll be surprised if JV goes more than 1 if he starts
