Tigers vs. royals Game Thread September 21

Now that was an awesome PH!!! Miggy didn't want V-Mart to take his team lead in RBIs.. LOL!!!

You fuckers on this board cry too much over every little thing.

One would think it were 2003, or whatever the fuck year it was that the Tigers were chasing the all time loss record...

As Mel Allen used to say, "How about that"!!!!

Don Freakin' Kelly 2 run bomb,

Tigers lead 6 - 3.

Fister 8th inning, Worth 2B,

gordon full count, ground ball to Kelly flips to Fister covering first,

melky curve strike call, slider up and in, swings and misses a curve low and away, chases again,

butler cutter strike call, curve in there strike call, chases outside,

Fister now in line for his 10th win of the season. He was 3-12 when he came over from Seattle to Tigers.

Tigers lead 6 - 3.

Rich what? Richmond![/color]]Can anyone tell me why Fister is playing today?

So that either one can start game 2 in ALDS depending on home field avantage.

Been talked about in the paper. Leyland is setting up his rotation for the playoffs and Turner is pitching tomorrow.

I'm hoping this means he is setting it up so Scherzer or Fister can pitch game 2 depending on whether it's home or away.

There setting up the rotation for the post season

Tigers 9th inning,

Martinez takes low, goes around on a slider inside, swings and fouls at home, fastball outside, slider in the dirt full count, fastball one hop grounder to second,

Avila fastball first pitch drilled to right center for a double,

Peralta takes a fastball low, fastball fly to right no advance,

Raburn slider low outside, chases a slider in the dirt, fastball fouled back, takes that low slider, slider ground ball to third,

Tigers lead 6 - 3.

See that Kelly was a big part of the Tigers' offense tonight, and that I hate texting on my new droid w/ a on-screen keyboard.
