The Tigers have announced the following roster moves:

*Placed C Grayson Greiner on the 10-day IL with a left hamstring strain.

*Selected C Eric Haase from AAA Toledo.

*To make room for Haase on the 40-man roster, RHP Franklin P?rez has been placed on unconditional release waivers.

Franklin P?rez is set for shoulder surgery. And the former centerpiece of the Justin Verlander trade has become an unfortunate symbol of what hasn't worked in the Tigers' slow rebuild.

Sadly Tiger is right. The team has a terrible owner who has zero clue. A really subpar Gm and a roster that just isn?t exciting anymore. That being said I do tune into the last few inning just to see if the tigers got lucky.

I still read the game threads and find the comments entertaining, but it's really difficult to follow this team daily as they are truly painful to watch.
