Get StartedWelp, Trade deadline is tomorrow. Hopefully this will at least tip the scales where the tigers arent sellers.
they have nothing worthwhile to sell
cmon now, schoop or even candy?
Someone would gladly take them right now.
Well the nine game losing streak is a haunt that is looking as bad as it can. The double header sweep to the Reds is an eye sore now as well. As the Tigers are showing some life as late going 7-2 in there last 9, gaining 3 series wins with all three against teams with better records than they had.
And the best news is Cabrera seems to have found his eye for the baseball. This the player the Tigers paid for. With a short season left he could/might be able to carry much off the load?
The pitching has also come to life let that kept going. Farmer seems to pitch better in one runs games. Soto has done a great closing last two games. Sometimes a team finds a closer in the pen by closer by committee. Should Joe find him self that would give Tigers three with Joe, Buck, and Soto.
Great win and sweep, sweep, sweep, see that what sweep means win three. Way to knock those twins out of first. Division imo is wide open now. And at .500 now a real change. Just don't lose 9 in a row again!
Dunno who this "Whitman" person is that you post of.
MLB didn't base their decision to play games sans fans on politics, but science and perhaps liability concerns, else why didn't the RNC go with their original choice to find an indoor venue in Floriduh to hold their nomination shindig?
Fans can choose to be optimistic, pessimistic, or realistic about the Tigers...I usually go with the last.
Tigers need a LF with power, patience @ the dish and a .280/.350/.400/.840-ish slashline next year. A LH 4th OFer with good speed and defense, along with somewhat lower numbers on O would be nice too.
