That's where you're being ridiculous right there. Leyland isn't the only reason why we lost this game. Maybe one day you'll get it, but for tonight....you're not. Oh fn well.

No, I was being sarcastic.

And honestly, Leyland isn't any of the reason we lost this game. Which Spock also mentioned, and I made a sarcastic joke referencing an angry mob might chase him with pitchforks and torches. :bat:

Leyland isn't ANY of the reason why we lost? You're delusional, bro.

Wish the early weather report had of held. Wish that the damn rain had come down all night. Then again, maybe it would have delayed the inevitable. Sigh

Leyland post game expresses concern that Sanchez hasn't pitched well for us not keeping the ball down enough. On Below admits he hasn't had much opportunity to stay sharp in the "role he's in" mentions how he couldn't hold a 5-1 tonight but says nothing about coke not holding his either!

Oh that's right, we lost this by 1 run and if he had not let Coke give up those 2 runs we would have won...oh, wait a minute...

Yeah, Leyland/coke cost us 2 runs, didn't factor.

It's probably temporary.

They need a fresh arm, and since Below won't likely pitch the next 2 games and has options, they can send him down use Putzkkonen if needed and call back up.

Too bad we couldn't send coke or sanchez down instead.

Also said the reason he took "Cokie" out was because he didn't want to overwork him. Nothing about him sucking. It amazes me how he has no problem calling out certain players after one bad game, but others he'll never talk about.

In fairness Tony, JL had little to do with this game. Yeah, he could have sat Boesch. Then again, what if BB was/is finally coming out of his coma?! Yeah, Delmon has been a rally killer lately but the dude can bat when he gets his head outta his ass. Our SP has been so-so & when they have good games the bats get strangely quiet. Finally, this is Minnesota. Games like this is why I hate them even more than the White Sux.
But still, JL is highly over-rated. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional imo. But tonight? Yesterday? Casey F'n Stengel/Tony LaRussa and/or anyone else from today or history could not have saved the Tig's the past 2 games. Sad but true.

How did you read Sanchez in his post game interview? I wasn't sure if it was just me or did he seem to think he didn't pitch as bad as he did, chalked it up ground balls that found holes? weird..

Pretty long pause after Keating mention that Leyland said he's not keeping the ball down too. Seemed to take his time and made sure he chose his words carefully.

can I go to f'n bed without this amatuer hour crap with you two??
Tigers lost, we're all bullshit,

don't take it out on each other.

Opponents hitting .380 vs. Anibal Sanchez in his first four starts for Tigers.
Six hits is fewest ever (22 games) for Tigers at Target Field. In the previous 21 games, they averaged 11 hits.

Never said that but stop defending the senile old bastard. You look ridiculous in doing so. You're smarter than that. man...i know it.

Coke comes out, righty comes in vs righty. This game could have been maybe 3-1 and they get out of the inning. Instead the Twins OPENED it up like a fresh gash and made the game out of reach. What the fuck don't you get?

Nah Ron, you can go to bed.

I was having a discussion with Tony, and we were keeping it civil, I'll just ignore the other.

I'm headed to bed myself anyhow.
